About this category
This award recognises a team, provider or project that has measurably strengthened the security and resilience of telecoms networks and services, including fraud and scam prevention. Judges look for risk reduced and the protection given to customers, without sensitive detail.
Eligibility
Open to UK operators, providers and security partners. Do not include details of unresolved weaknesses.

Metrics
- Threats blocked
- Scam calls or messages stopped
- Incident response times and resilience tests passed
Additional criteria
Entries should include a concise case study, supporting figures such as premises passed, coverage, uptime, speeds, take up, customer satisfaction or carbon saved, and, where possible, comments from customers or partners. Commercially sensitive figures can be given as ranges or percentages, and nothing in an entry is shared beyond the judging panel. Never include customer personal data, credentials or details of unresolved security weaknesses. Judges consider the size and stage of the business, so a regional alternative network provider competes on equal terms with a national operator.
