This award recognises a data centre or data centre operator whose resilience, efficiency, security and customer service stand out. Judges look for uptime, energy efficiency, sustainability and the service customers receive.

Additional criteria
Entries should include a concise case study, supporting figures such as premises passed, coverage, uptime, speeds, take up, customer satisfaction or carbon saved, and, where possible, comments from customers or partners. Commercially sensitive figures can be given as ranges or percentages, and nothing in an entry is shared beyond the judging panel. Never include customer personal data, credentials or details of unresolved security weaknesses. Judges consider the size and stage of the business, so a regional alternative network provider competes on equal terms with a national operator.
